Attorney Oliver has devoted his practice primarily to default servicing matters since 2005. An experienced trial and appellate lawyer, Mr. Oliver's practice has focused mainly on contested foreclosure and collection matters. He is experienced in trial of complex foreclosure matters and has successfully litigated numerous issues relative to such legal terrain as the Illinois Mortgage Foreclosure Law, the Illinois Mechanics Lien Act, the federal Truth in Lending Act, the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act, and the federal Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act. Mr. Oliver is also experienced in the defense of claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
