Marcos Posada is the Managing Partner for the Firm's Illinois Litigation Practice Group. In that capacity, Mr. Posada actively handles the firm’s retention of litigation matters and works tirelessly for the establishment of the firm serving as Litigation Counsel for outside matters. In addition to having daily oversight over the firm’s entire portfolio of litigated matters, Mr. Posada is directly involved in the firm’s Appellate cases, successfully obtaining decisions favoring his clients in nearly every case.
Mr. Posada began his practice representing major banking institutions in creditor rights disputes and moved quickly into mortgage foreclosure and lender litigation. Mr. Posada has represented nearly every servicer and lender in the industry in contested civil litigation matters and has significant civil trial experience in creditor rights disputes.
Before graduating from Northern Illinois University School of Law, Mr. Posada worked for the City of Chicago Department of Law as a 711 student attorney, where he honed the art of civil procedure and trials successfully obtaining verdicts on hundreds of vehicular accident and vehicle homicide traffic matters in favor of the City of Chicago.
Of recent distinction, Mr. Posada successfully argued on behalf of a major investor obtaining a favorable ruling against a condominium association for un-warranted assessments, thereby saving thousands of dollars for his client.

Mr. Posada is an active member of the Education Subcommittee for the Legal League 100, a collection of default servicing law firms and mortgage service providers; as well as the Junior Professionals and Executives Group, the Commercial Default Practice Group, the Default Services Practice Group and the Complex Litigation Practice Group of the American Legal & Financial Network, a national network of legal and mortgage banking professionals.
