Real Estate Owned (REO) Closing Department:

Based on client metrics, McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLC’s Real Estate Owned (REO) Department consistently grades out as one of the most efficient and successful closing operations per client metrics. Our Georgia REO department was one of the first REO closing groups in the country which met the needs of the industry by being able to close a high volume of properties each month, and since that time, we have replicated our expertise and expanded our closing operations into Florida and Alabama.

The value of an REO closing office truly is in achieving the final result of completing the transaction. McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLC’s clients appreciate our ability to help them close their assets on-time and problem free. Whether the performance indicators are title or closing related, our track record shows that we exceed client goals and expectations. The Firm’s REO Closing Department has developed processes for REO-specific tasks, such as contract execution and servicer payment tracking. We also engage REO sellers' real estate brokers and other vendors in order to ease the exchange of communication for everyone to work towards the common goal of providing exceptional service to the clients.

The Firm’s REO Closing Department has closed tens of thousands of REO transactions over the years. Our goal is to help REO sellers move assets and, equally important, help new individuals and families realize their dreams of home ownership.

We were one of the only Georgia law firms to be invited to participate in the Freddie Mac Designated Counsel program during the entire duration of the Program’s existence. In addition to continuing to handle and close REO properties on behalf of Freddie Mac, we also have been assisting Fannie Mae since 2009. The Firm works with many other national, regional and local institutional lenders.

Our partners frequently appear as panelists and speakers at national and local industry events and conferences, including those sponsored by USFN, ALFN and REOMAC.
