Biography

Mr. Thames is a Senior Director with McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLC. He has over 29 years of real estate experience within his career, which includes a majority of management and executive positions.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked in real estate sales, origination and title closings. He transitioned to the default world in 2008 has spent the majority of his time with large servicers, banks, and asset management companies. Mr. Thames oversaw the day to day operations, which serviced multiple clients and thousands of assets.

Mr. Thames has successfully managed foreclosure, evictions, asset management , closing and curative teams during his career.

He has a proven record in conflict resolution and has resolved highly escalated issues, including legal, media, investor and municipality concerns.

Publications and Speaking Engagements

Mr. Thames was part of the management of a team that won REO Insider’s 2010 first place Pinnacle Awards for Best Closing Process, Most Professional Servicer, Best Overall Servicer, and Best Listing Practice.
Principal member of the software conversion team responsible for the successful transition of a database with over 3 million data points from a company specific platform to RES.NET, a more robust and web-based REO system. This included data mapping, data verification, development of new written policies and procedures and training materials for the REO department.
Built successful teams at Fundstream Mortgage, 5 Star GMAC Real Estate, and LandAmerica Title.
